Liverpool Buccaneers

Liverpool Buccaneers were formed in the Winter of 2002 and play in the Co-operative RLC National.

The season runs from April to September with home games being played at Sefton RUFC, West Derby, Liverpool.

The team has been made up of a blend of experienced ex-students, local rugby union players keen to learn new skills and try their hand at the 13 man code and some experienced players from the Merseyside area..

Directions

From M62 (St Helens)

Head towards Liverpool on the M62 and as the motorway ends (at the Rocket) make sure you are in the far right hand lane.

Bear right at the traffic lights and onto Queens Drive (heading towards Bootle).

At the first junction (Wetherspoons pub is on the left), get into the right hand lane again and turn right into East Prescot Road.

After about 200metres Satansburys is on the right.
Go thru these lights and the next set until you get to a roundabout with the Greyhound pub on the left.

Turn left into Blackmore Drive and proceed to the 'T' junction at the end.
Turn right here and after about 400m turn left at the Bulldog pub into Leyfield Road.

Proceed along the road for a further 400m until you see a sign on the right for Sefton RUFC. Turn right up the small opening and the club is about 100m straight ahead.
